Melisa Karakurt began her musical journey at an early age, learning to play the guitar and gradually developing a distinctive artistic voice. After moving to Istanbul, she gained recognition on the local music scene, earning a place in the Boğaziçi Jazz Choir and becoming a finalist in the Nardis Young Jazz Vocal Competition.

She made her debut in 2018 with the single Onlarca Yüzlerce Binlerce and has since built a growing audience through genre-blending releases and collaborations with various artists. Her debut album ASU (2026) presents a unique musical landscape where Anatolian melodies meet alternative pop and indie influences.
