PALAMUT ZAMANI
Some encounters arrive like a season; they change the flow of life and the rhythm of the heart. Palamut Zamanı (“Bonito Season”) is the story of a meeting between two women and a group of people — a meeting that may seem coincidental, yet is as profound as fate itself.
On one side is a young woman overshadowed by society’s judgment and the culture of public shaming; on the other is a woman who has blended into the winds of a seaside town, creating her own world with her joy, eccentricity, and free spirit. Their encounter transforms into both a personal and intergenerational reckoning, giving rise to a healing story woven with moments of sorrow and laughter alike.
Palamut Zamanı is the story of everyone walking the fine line between the fear of being forgotten and the courage to begin again. It invites the audience not only into the lives of Burcu and Nermin, but also into the silences, hopes, and breaking points of the people around them.
Perhaps what all of us truly need is to listen to one another’s stories.
