Palaye Royale will rock the Turkcell Stage on June 10th!
Palaye Royale’s adrenaline fueled, rock n’ roll circus is leading a generation in togetherness through truth, honesty, and change. First landing in Los Angeles as teenagers, Las Vegas-bred brothers Remington Leith (vocals), Sebastian Danzig (guitar), and Emerson Barrett (drums), worked their way up through the ruthless L.A. rock scene, soon finding themselves playing arenas with the likes of Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, and Stone Sour. They draw as much inspiration from cinema and philosophy as they do from their musical muses, building a story with libertine reverence for Alan Watts and debauchery-fueled nights at the Chateau Marmont, for Johnny Thunders and The Stooges.
The trio’s fourth full-length “Fever Dream” emerged from a much-needed break in the chaos, with the three classically trained musicians returning to their roots and composing most of the album on piano. Equal parts ecstatic head rush and in-depth meditation on the state of the human psyche, the result is Palaye Royale’s boldest and most visionary body of work to date. For Palaye Royale, returning to the live stage is among the most thrilling rewards to be gained from the release of “Fever Dream.”
As their moniker itself evokes (Palaye Royale is the name of the Toronto dancehall where their grandparents met in the ‘50s), the brotherly trio is eager to connect themselves and this generation to the spirit of the past but reinvigorated for today with eclecticism and fierce individuality. Their tours are like a traveling circus. Clad in scarves, hats, paisley shirts, and makeup, as the Soldiers of the Royal Council attest, it’s the Palaye Royale lifestyle. And you are invited to the celebration on June 10!
