DIMITRIS ISARIS
The spirit of the Mediterranean meets the passion of music.
Composer, violinist, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist Dimitris Isaris is coming to Istanbul with his distinctive musical world, where cinematic instrumental music meets Mediterranean influences and contemporary acoustic sounds.
The Greek artist has reached a wide audience by reinterpreting Turkish melodies he has passionately listened to for years through his own musical perspective. His performances have amassed more than 116 million views worldwide in just one year, with their strongest resonance coming from Türkiye, where these melodies originated.
Drawing inspiration from the musical heritage of different cultures, Isaris brings his own musical language to familiar melodies, creating a bridge between the past and the present. His versatility as a musician, spanning the warm tones of the guitar to the powerful expression of the violin, transforms into a unique narrative on stage through cinematic atmospheres, refined arrangements, and contemporary touches.
What makes Isaris’s music truly special is not only his virtuosity, but also the powerful emotional connection he creates with his audience. His music becomes a form of storytelling that touches memories and emotions without the need for words. Even in the middle of a crowded concert hall, he creates an intensely personal experience, making each listener feel as though he is playing just for them.
Sometimes shaped by the memories evoked by a familiar melody, and sometimes by the emotions sparked by a composition heard for the first time, his performances invite audiences not simply to a concert, but on a special journey with music at its heart.
With his elegant arrangements, deeply emotional compositions, and captivating stage presence, Dimitris Isaris takes the stage at Zorlu PSM on January 9.
Get ready to experience one of Istanbul’s most special nights of music.
