Pushing boundaries with their music and distinctive styles, Coca-Cola Presents: Bulgarian Cartrader and BaBa ZuLa are at Zorlu PSM on January 29 as part of the PSM Loves2 Gather series!
Berlin-based artist Daniel Stoyanov’s music project Bulgarian Cartrader, one of Europe’s standout indie acts, takes the stage at %100 Studio!
Born in Sofia and raised in southern Germany, Stoyanov began his career performing at weddings before becoming a sought-after studio vocalist, working with prominent names such as SEEED, Solomun, Casper and Marteria. In 2022, he introduced his solo project Bulgarian Cartrader to the music world with his debut album Motor Songs. Soon after, he performed at major festivals across Europe and sold-out concerts in cities around the world. He was awarded the Music Moves Europe (MME) Award, further establishing his presence on the international music scene. With tracks surpassing 15 million streams and his distinctive live performances, he has built a growing audience worldwide.
After taking a break from music to rediscover himself, Bulgarian Cartrader is now returning as an independent and renewed artist. His new single opens the door to an entirely new chapter. With his unique sound and boundary-pushing music, Bulgarian Cartrader is back on stage!
One of the pioneers of 21st-century Turkish psychedelic music, BaBa ZuLa blends traditional Anatolian melodies with electronic music, improvisation and distinctive stage performances.
Founded in Istanbul in 1996, the group consists of founding members Levent Akman and Murat Ertel, alongside Ümit Adakale and Esma Ertel. Bringing together the electric saz, percussion, theremin and many other instruments, BaBa ZuLa incorporates extensive improvisation into every performance, offering audiences a unique experience each time. Their live performances go far beyond music. Shaped by dance, poetry, theatre, costumes and visual elements, their ritualistic atmosphere transforms every concert into a one-of-a-kind audiovisual experience.
Murat Ertel’s specially designed electric saz, together with the group’s use of traditional instruments, carries a rich musical heritage into the future—from pre-Islamic shamanic cultures and Anatolia to the stories of the Silk and Spice Roads and modern-day Istanbul.
BaBa ZuLa brings its unique live experience, where improvisation, psychedelic music and the ancient spirit of Anatolia come together, to Zorlu PSM!
