VERA "AKUSTİK"
Continuing the recordings of their upcoming album "İkinci Baskı" (Second Edition), set to be released at the end of the year, Vera is performing their 2023 concerts with a completely different stage format, "unplugged". Known for their high-energy stage shows, Vera has prepared a special setlist and acoustic arrangements for this concert, which will take place on Saturday, May 27th at Zorlu PSM Vestel Amfi.
Vera was founded in Denizli by four high school friends in 2004. Their songs, recorded in a small rehearsal studio during their high school years and distributed on the internet, led to university and bar concerts, demo recordings, and eventually the Be 'The Band' Music Competition. In 2011, the band gained national attention for the first time through a competition organized by Babajim Studios.
In 2012, they released their first EP, self-titled "Vera". With this Brit Rock-influenced album, the band reached their first milestone on their musical journey, and they have since released 3 studio albums, 1 EP, and many singles. With each new song, the band has incorporated nods to different genres, and over the years, they have successfully evolved from a standard rock band to a modern music group.
Vera, who has made a name for themselves with hit songs like "Mutluluk Reklamı", "Saklanır Nisan", and "Davetsiz", rose to the top of the Turkish Rock charts twice in a row with "Deniz Kabukları" and "Sonsuza Kadar", released in 2020.
The final installment of Vera's new concept series, which began with "Cam Kenarı" in 2021, was released under the label Doğan Müzik Yapım on September 2nd, 2022, and can be seen as a sort of "season finale". The album is titled "Sıradan Yaralar" (Ordinary Wounds).
