Cervantes’ timeless classic Don Quixote is back on stage with its stellar cast for its 2nd season!
Don Quixote brings Selçuk Yöntem and Zuhal Olcay together on the same stage for the first time, brought to life under the direction of Işıl Kasapoğlu and with Volkan Akkoç as Music Director.
A Spectacle on a West End and Broadway Scale
With its spectacular cast of 80, live orchestra, captivating music, and striking stage design, Don Quixote offers a production of a rare scale.
A Timeless Story
Cervantes’ immortal Don Quixote is more than just a novel; it is a timeless classic that has been rediscovered, adapted for the stage, and given new meaning across generations.
Sold Out
Since its premiere in September, the production has been performing to sold-out audiences and reached more than 70,000 spectators in its first season.
An Unforgettable Experience
As audiences often emphasize, Don Quixote appeals to the eyes, ears, and emotions, leaving a lasting impression. A magical 150-minute journey between musical reality and fantasy.
Dazzling Costumes
The costume world, designed by İnci Kangal Özgür, comes to life with more than 400 costumes, shoes, and accessories created across 80 looks. More than 2,000 meters of fabric and extensive handcrafting create a rich, distinctive, and striking atmosphere on stage.
Music Performed Entirely Live
The music is performed entirely live by a 15-member orchestra and a 20-member choir on stage.
Featuring a special orchestration built around wind instruments and guitar to capture the spirit of Spanish music, with no string instruments used, powerful solo and choral performances add even greater depth to the production.
A Colossal Set
Standing three stories tall, the Don Quixote set creates an impressive world on stage with tons of metal, a specially designed moving windmill system, and giant puppets. Developed from five separate sketches prepared by Hakan Dündar, the design conveys the grandeur of the production at first sight.
The story of a knight who dares to challenge reality!
