The 7th edition of Sónar Istanbul will present its enormous line-up throughout 3 days for the first time in Sónar Istanbul’s history! Uniting music, creativity, technology, and hosting thousands of music lovers Sónar Istanbul extended its line-up for this year to 3 days. With the contribution of %100 Music, between April 28th to 30th, the festival announces new outstanding artists from all genres of electronic music.
Sónar Istanbul, which will take place at Zorlu PSM between April 28th to 30th for the 7th edition, added new artists to its line-up. Sónar Istanbul will welcome pioneer curators and producers of electronic music such as Belfast-born/London-based epic duo BICEP (Live), composing and performing multifaceted electronic music with hopeful tones and a human aesthetic, David August (DJ Set), navigating their own way through techno music with their strong new steps, KAS:ST, establishing himself as a DJ in his own right and a producer with his intricately-synthesized electronic constellations, DJ Tennis and a classically trained musician who mixes the emotions of the known and unknown, Carlita as Astra Club (Carlita B2B DJ Tennis), creating sounds with glowering techno, ghostly piano pieces and fluttering folktronics, CLARK (Live), with his hyper-detailed works of electronic music which are rich with imagination and surprises, Objekt, fusing classical vocalism, pop sensibilities and contemporary club culture, Lyra Pramuk (Echoluminescence), a group whose incredible achievements place them at the forefront of the crossover between electronic music and rock Goose, a dynamic producer, genre-spanning selector, and a new name who’s gaining her spotlight, or:la. Sónar Istanbul 2023 will also host, the king of avant-garde electronica Richie Hawtin, globally renowned techno DJ ANNA, establishing herself as one of the most uncompromising and visible new talents in techno, VTSS, merging electronic music and visual art with a scientific inquiry through installations, live performances and immersive audio-visual experiences that point on humanity’s place in the world, Max Cooper (3D AV), illuminating a natural fluency for rhythm and creating a universe within techno, BLAWAN, one of the most exciting talents coming out of the UK, TSHA (DJ Set), having groove-laden basslines and bright, melodic hooks and Peruvian-born, Berlin-based producer, Sofia Kourtesis (DJ Set).
The prominent artists of the Turkish electronic music stage will be performing during the festival, such as; Ali Özel B2B MFY, Duality By Dirgen & Karisman, Ece Özel, Evrim De Evrim B2B Procombo, Gaia Ekho, İpek İpekçioğlu, Merve Baykal B2B Feyza Emir, Moophy, Murat Uncuoğlu, Raw, Sinemis (Live) and Volkan Gündüz.

• The event gate opens at 18:00. • Everyone entering the festival area, regardless of age, is required to have a ticket. • Participants under 18 years of age can only attend the festival accompanied by their parents (mother and/or father). Children under 8 years old will not be allowed entry. • Ticket holders without ID/Driver's License/Passport will not be admitted to the event area. • Bag and body checks will be conducted at the entrance to the festival area. • Suitcases and large backpacks are not allowed into the festival area. • Liquid, gel, perfume, deodorant, and vitamin substances carried in bags will not be allowed into the event area. • As food and drink sales will be available at the festival, no outside food or beverages are allowed. • The use of professional audio and visual equipment (video cameras and cameras) and selfie sticks is prohibited. • Flammable and/or explosive liquids or gases, pepper spray, and the like are strictly prohibited in the festival area. • No medications, whether boxed or open, are allowed into the festival area. Only prescription medications needed for use during the festival will be accepted in a designated area and allowed for use when necessary. • Festival wristbands must always be worn. Do not remove your wristband under any circumstances during the festival. Daily ticket checks will be conducted. Do not lose your ticket. • A ticket, together with the wristband provided, grants the holder entry to the festival area during designated hours. Losing the ticket and/or wristband, or removing the wristband from the wrist, results in loss of entry rights. Passo and the Organizer are not responsible for lost tickets and/or wristbands. • Backpacks and large bags are not allowed in the event venues. Cloakroom service is available for such items. • Fog effects will be used frequently during the events. • The festival features high sound levels. Earplugs will be available at the festival area for guests with sensitivities. • The event includes visual effects that may disturb individuals with photosensitive epilepsy. • Responsibility for items not left in the cloakroom belongs to their owners. • Smoking is strictly prohibited in indoor areas of the festival. Those who fail to comply will be removed from the festival area without warning, and their tickets will not be refunded. • Participants have the right to leave the festival area once before 23:00. Guests leaving the festival area after 23:00 will not be readmitted on the same day. • No refunds will be issued for tickets. • Zorlu PSM reserves the right to change the conditions for purchasing discounted tickets. • Zorlu PSM reserves the right to make changes to the event venue and schedule. • Zorlu PSM reserves the right to refuse entry to individuals deemed unsuitable for the event, with a refund of the ticket price. • The festival will take place under all weather conditions. • By attending the event, participants consent to the use of video recordings of the event, which may include them as audience members, on online broadcast platforms. The organizer holds the rights to use these recordings. • The festival will be held as a standing event.
