SECRET GARDEN
The Grammy-winning duo is coming to Istanbul as part of their 30th Anniversary Tour: Secret Garden live at Zorlu PSM on November 22!
Renowned for their serene melodies and evocative storytelling, Secret Garden—one of the most distinctive acts in the new age genre—will take the stage at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Stage on November 22, presented by Stagepass and Musicarium. The Grammy-winning duo will perform beloved works including “You Raise Me Up,” “Nocturne,” and “Song From a Secret Garden.”
Consisting of Norwegian composer and pianist Rolf Løvland and Irish violinist Fionnuala Sherry, Secret Garden is bringing its 30th Anniversary Tour to Istanbul. The duo will meet audiences on Sunday, November 22, at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Stage in an event organized by Stagepass and Musicarium.
Secret Garden made music history in 1995 by winning the Eurovision Song Contest with “Nocturne,” a piece that was almost entirely instrumental—an unprecedented achievement at the time. Since then, the duo has amassed more than 3 billion streams, sold over 6 million albums worldwide, and earned 113 platinum certifications. They also achieved one of the longest-running successes in the genre by remaining on the Billboard New Age chart for an uninterrupted 311 weeks.
Among the group’s most iconic compositions, “You Raise Me Up” stands out as one of the most frequently performed songs of the century. Recorded by more than 1,000 artists—including Josh Groban, Il Divo, and Celtic Woman—the song has been translated into over 40 languages and featured at numerous high-profile events, from the Olympic Games to the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony. Written by Rolf Løvland following the loss of his mother, the piece began as a deeply personal expression of grief and has since become a timeless anthem of comfort, hope, and resilience for millions around the world.
