PSM LOVES2DANCE: KERALA DUST
PSM Loves2Dance: Kerala Dust will meet their fans at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Stage on October 18th!
Having shared their new track 'Bell', Kerala Dust presents a hypnotic blend of blues, psychedelic rock, and techno with this song, which is the first track from their yet-to-be-announced third album. The track lingers like a hazy memory, cinematic, pulsating, and impossible to forget. Commenting on the song, the band said, "This song came to us in fragments over a few recording sessions. Echoes of blues from a week of tape recording in Austin, Texas... The song is about how we bury parts of ourselves—memories, emotions—and how they resurface when we least expect them." They also note that the song is an evolution for the band and points to the musical direction of their upcoming album.
With new members, keyboardist Tim Gardner and drummer Pascal Karier, along with band founders Edmund Kenny (vocals, electronics) and Lawrence Howarth (guitar), they mention that their extensive touring after the 2023 Violet Drive album helped shape both the recording of 'Bell' and the new album. Formed in London in 2016, the band draws inspiration from CAN, Tom Waits, and The Velvet Underground. Supported by BBC Radio 1 and praised by Record Collector, the band has performed at DGTL and Sonar festivals and headlined at Koko in London.
Make sure to reserve your spot now so you don't miss this unforgettable night!
