French alternative dance group L'Impératrice will bring its whimsical and stylized disco music to Zorlu PSM on May 26 as part of PSM Loves Summer by %100 Müzik!
Elegant and majestic, L’Impératrice (The Empress) has six crowns.
Since the release of the album "Tako Tsubo", things are moving fast for the Parisian group. L’Impératrice has certainly kept its taste for dance, a groove laid on a virtuoso bass, vintage synths and glimmering melodies. But has offered itself the freedom to explore other territories, to take a new direction with its second album Tako Tsubo. An album that will lead the band to a World Tour of more than 100 dates.
L'Impératrice is the brainchild of keyboardist/composer Charles de Boisseguin which grew to include second keyboardist Hagni Gwon, guitarist Achille Trocellier, bass player David Gaugué, drummer Tom Daveau and vocalist Flore Benguigui. Following the release of their two albums “Matahari” and “Tako Tsubo,” L’Impératrice has definitely asserted itself as the vanguard of a new French touch.
