One of the pioneering figures of Turkey’s distinctive contemporary music scene, Gaye Su Akyol brings the ancient sounds of Anatolia together with psychedelic rock, post-punk, electronic music, and beyond. This time, through her curatorship of Neo Turkish Psych, she invites audiences into a unique sonic universe.
Blending traditional Anatolian music, Classical Turkish music, and Anatolian rock with contemporary genres, Gaye Su Akyol has established a distinctive presence on the international stage, earning praise from renowned publications including The New York Times, Pitchfork, The Guardian, and Songlines. Describing her music as “universal in concept, local in spirit,” the artist brings sounds from different periods and geographies of Anatolia together with today’s musical landscape through Neo Turkish Psych.
The evening will also feature Lalalar, formed by Ali Güçlü Şimşek and Barlas Tan Özemek. Making a strong entrance onto the local psychedelic scene with their 2019 single “İsyanlar,” the group reimagines the spirit of 1970s arabesque through a futuristic lens. Cinematic retro basslines, electronic beats, gritty guitars, and distinctive vocals come together with Anatolian melodies to create their signature sound.
With tracks such as “Hata Benim Göbek Adım,” “Yalnız Ölü Balıklar Akıntıyı Takip Eder,” “Hiç Mutlu Olmam Daha İyi,” and “Ninja Partisi,” Lalalar have developed a sound of their own, further expanding their musical world with the albums Bi Cinnete Bakar (2022) and En Kötü İyi Olur (2023). Known for their energetic live performances across stages in Türkiye and around the world, the group will take the stage at Zorlu PSM as part of Neo Turkish Psych. Also joining the lineup is Alaturca Club, a group that combines a “Turkish-style club” spirit with psychedelic, alaturka, and dance music. Formed in Istanbul in 2022 by Göksu Taşçeviren (Sufle), Mustafa Atik (Sufle), and Nurettin Çolak (Ethnu), the group has released a series of singles before bringing their debut album Club Alaturca to listeners in 2024.
Bringing traditional sounds together with psychedelic textures and dance rhythms, Alaturca Club will take the stage as part of the Neo Turkish Psych experience.
Gaye Su Akyol, Lalalar, and Alaturca Club will be joined by acclaimed selector DJ Fitz, who has been moving dancefloors across different parts of the world for more than 15 years.
Known for performances spanning underground clubs across Europe as well as the US, Canada, the Middle East, and Australia, DJ Fitz creates a distinctive musical world through selections that blend disco, psychedelic funk, and rhythms from different cultures. From deep grooves to unexpected discoveries, his sets combine rare tracks with contemporary touches to create hypnotic, dance-driven journeys. With his strong musical instincts and distinctive selections, DJ Fitz will keep the dancefloor moving throughout the Neo Turkish Psych night.

Event Rules
Zorlu PSM reserves the right to make changes to the event venue, program, and schedule.
The event is suitable for guests aged 18 and over. Guests under the age of 18 are not permitted to attend.
Everyone entering the event venue is required to have a ticket, regardless of age.
Doors open at 20:00, and the event starts at 21:00.
Entry to the venue after the event has started may be restricted or suspended in accordance with the rules determined by the organizer.
Tickets & Entry
A ticket, together with the event wristband issued at the entrance, grants access to the event venue during the hours determined by the organizer.
The event wristband must remain on the wrist throughout the event. If the wristband is removed, lost, or damaged, the right of entry becomes invalid. Zorlu PSM and the organizer are not responsible for lost tickets and/or wristbands.
Zorlu PSM reserves the right to verify guests’ identities at the entrance. Only an ID card, driver’s license, or passport is accepted. Other documents, screenshots, or digital images will not be considered valid.
For security reasons, bag and body checks may be conducted at the entrance. Guests who do not consent to security checks may be denied entry.
Discounted tickets purchased under the Garanti BBVA Genç category are limited in capacity and are valid only upon presentation of a valid student ID.
Zorlu PSM reserves the right to make changes to discounted ticket policies.
Zorlu PSM reserves the right to deny entry to the event venue and refund the ticket price when deemed necessary. Venue Rules
As food and beverages are sold at Zorlu PSM, bringing outside food and beverages into the event venue is prohibited.

Professional cameras, photographic equipment, and audio or video recording equipment are not permitted inside the venue. Unless otherwise stated by the organizer, professional audio or video recording is prohibited. Sharp, pointed, flammable, or explosive materials, as well as any items that may pose a security risk, are prohibited.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the indoor areas of Zorlu PSM. Anyone who violates this rule will be removed from the event venue without warning, and no ticket refund will be provided.
Cloakroom service is available. Guests are responsible for personal belongings not left at the cloakroom. Zorlu PSM is not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten personal belongings. Found items will be kept in accordance with Zorlu PSM’s Lost and Found Procedure.
Suitcases and large backpacks are not permitted inside the event venue. Such items must be left at the cloakroom. Zorlu PSM reserves the right to remove, without refund, anyone who violates the event rules, negatively affects other guests’ experience, or poses a security risk.
Health & Safety
Certain events may feature intense lighting, lasers, strobe effects, and visual effects that may not be suitable for individuals with epilepsy.
Lighting and laser effects used during the event may damage phone cameras. Guests are advised to keep their phones as far away from light and laser sources as possible.
In case of an emergency, guests must follow the instructions of security personnel and the event staff.
Photography, Video & Audio Recording
Zorlu PSM and the organizer may take photographs, video, and audio recordings during the event.
By attending the event, guests are deemed to have accepted that photographs, video, and audio recordings taken at the venue may be used for promotional, advertising, marketing, and corporate communications purposes. Food & Beverage
Guests wishing to dine at Cheers Restaurant before the event are advised to make a reservation by calling 0212 912 37 76, subject to table availability.
Focamia, Ppang, Rancero, and The Grungy at Bites & Beats, as well as Taş Bar inside Zorlu PSM, are available without a reservation.
Transportation
Zorlu PSM can be accessed directly via Gayrettepe Metro Station on the M2 Yenikapı–Hacıosman Metro Line. Guests using public transportation are advised to consider the metro option.
Guests arriving by private vehicle are advised to arrive at least 1 hour before the event starts to allow sufficient time for parking and valet services, due to potential congestion at Zorlu Center before the event.
