“DRACULA BY OKAN BAYÜLGEN” Co-produced by BKM and Kabare Dada, the production meets audiences in the new season. Based on the immortal novel by Bram Stoker, the play is rewritten and directed by Okan Bayülgen. One of the most iconic figures of fantasy literature, Dracula, is played by Okan Bayülgen himself, while the vampire hunter Van Helsing is portrayed by Hayko Cepkin. In this reinterpretation, Okan Bayülgen moves the story to seventy-seven years after the novel’s events—placing it half a century before today, at a critical turning point in history. The live stage orchestra features Ahmet Güvenç, bassist of Kurtalan Ekspres, known for his unforgettable compositions. Duration: 140 minutes – 2 acts
