COCA-COLA PRESENTS: TALLISKER & SEREN SARAÇ
Paris-based French indie pop singer-songwriter Tallisker and Seren Saraç, who blends Anatolian melodies with electronic and indie pop sounds, will take the stage at %100 Studio on March 19 as part of the PSM Loves2Gather series, with the support of Coca-Cola!
Bringing together the musical heritage of East and West through modern pop and electronic sounds, Tallisker weaves different cultures into a poetic musical language. Following her 2020 EP Azadi, she introduced her distinctive musical world with her debut album Contrepoints in 2022, blending pop-electronic melodies with traditional instruments.
Inspired by artists such as M.I.A., Rosalía and Stromae, Tallisker has also made a strong impact in Türkiye. Her track “Cocagne” reached No. 1 on Shazam Türkiye’s foreign songs chart, while “Libre” and “Bagatelle” received widespread attention. “Bagatelle,” which earned the admiration of Turkish music icon Gül’den Karaböcek through its interpretation of “Dilek Taşı,” became a popular track on Turkish radio.
Tallisker sees songwriting as a language of peace, freedom and unity, bringing together diverse cultures and sounds. Get ready for an indie pop experience where East meets West and musical boundaries disappear! Nürnberg-based songwriter, singer and composer Seren Saraç defines her distinctive sound as “Microtonal Electronic,” blending traditional Anatolian melodies with cyberpunk-inspired electronic and indie pop productions. Alongside her original compositions, Saraç reinterprets traditional Anatolian folk songs, handling the entire process from arrangement and recording to mixing and mastering herself.
Known for her versatile live performances, Saraç combines traditional instruments such as the bağlama and mey with modern instruments like synthesizers. Her performance videos have reached millions of views on social media, while her musical foundation comes from her studies in Turkish classical music, Turkish folk music and Western classical theory at Istanbul Technical University State Conservatory from the age of 14.
Her single “YEKTE” received repeated airplay on BBC Radio 6 Music with the support of Lauren Laverne. Saraç also collaborates with and is supported by global brands including Universal Audio, Novation, Arturia, ROLI, Spitfire Audio and Teenage Engineering. Bringing the roots of Anatolian music into the contemporary world of electronic music, Seren Saraç delivers a distinctive and genre-defying live experience.
