CHARLOTTE CARDIN
Canadian singer-songwriter Charlotte Cardin is coming to Zorlu PSM Turkcell Stage on 29 May 2027!
Blending pop, R&B and jazz with her distinctive musical approach, Charlotte Cardin is set to meet her audience with her powerful vocals, captivating stage presence and genre-fluid sound. Born in Montreal, the artist has become one of today’s most compelling names thanks to her unique style and creative approach to bringing different musical genres together. Cardin made a major breakthrough with her debut album Phoenix, earning Juno Awards for Album of the Year, Pop Album of the Year, Artist of the Year and Single of the Year. She continued this success with her second album, 99 Nights, further expanding her musical horizons.
With her third studio album, Midnight, mon amour, set for release on 29 January 2027, Charlotte Cardin opens a new chapter in her career. Inspired by the contradictions of human nature, the tension between societal expectations and personal desires, and the sides of ourselves we keep hidden, the album explores emotional and creative territories the artist has yet to discover. Centred on the contrast between day and night, this new musical world focuses on hidden dreams, unspoken desires and the urge to freely explore the different facets of ourselves.
Drawing inspiration from a wide range of sources, from cinema and literature to fashion and personal experiences, Cardin also explores different ways of self-expression through songs that move between French and English. Tracks such as “The Way We Touch”, “Take Me Back” and “Memories” reflect the album’s shifting atmospheres and emotional depth, while three different versions of “Fleur” expand its narrative around alternative possibilities and lives left unlived.
Taking her musical journey, shaped between Canada, London and Paris, in a new direction with her latest album, Charlotte Cardin combines her captivating vocals with cinematic textures and rich musical arrangements. Describing live performance as one of the most exciting aspects of her musical journey, the artist places particular importance on reinterpreting her songs through the energy of the stage.
With her distinctive voice, genre-defying sound and songs that explore the many layers of human emotion, Charlotte Cardin will meet her audience at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Stage on 29 May 2027.
