BORA ÇELİKER QUARTET FEATURING İMER DEMİRER & VOLKAN TOPAKOĞLU & ATEŞ TEZER: SPRING IS HERE
Along with original compositions from Bora Çeliker's albums 'Borabook' (2013) and 'Tersyüz' (2018), the quartet, whose musical relationship and friendship dates back to ancient times, will come together for the first time after the pandemic. The vocal jazz standard composed by songwriters such as Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart, Jimmie Van Heusen, Antonio Carlos Jobim and bossa nova interpretations will be featured.
Inspired by movements such as Modern Mainstream, Hard Bop, and Free Jazz, the quartet's performances range from dynamic and high-tension performances to introverted, heavy ballads.
