Since the release of their debut album, Black Pumas was nominated for a total of seven Grammy Awards, including "Album of the Year" and "Best New Artist." They are now coming to Zorlu PSM Turkcell Stage on July 2 as part of PSM Loves Summer by %100 Müzik! The band, hailing from Austin, Texas, garnered the attention of music enthusiasts at the beginning of their musical journey with their track "Colors," inspired by the hues of the sky.
In 2017, the collaboration of vocalist/lyricist Eric Burton and guitarist/producer Adrian Quesada laid the foundation for Black Pumas. Burton, a self-taught musician, and Quesada, already a Grammy winner, quickly rose to fame thanks to their complementary yet distinct musical sensibilities.
Their highly anticipated second album, "Chronicles of a Diamond," produced by Quesada and co-produced by Burton, was released in October 2023. The album brings to life Black Pumas' unique vision with a more robust, passionate, and bold originality than ever before.
