AFTERWORK PARTY: BUSSI
Based in İstanbul, BUSSI is a sound engineer, DJ/music producer, music director and event manager. Formerly a bass guitarist, BUSSI was producing music into different forms in early years. A crucial voice of the local Turkish electronic music scene, she caught the attention of the scene rapidly touring a lot in the past years after finishing her Audio engineering program.
Made her first Europe appearance in Budapest at the one of the most prestigious club, Cinema hall Budapest, following performances in Berlin, Rome, Paris and Cyprus and Tirana. She produced her first track ‘’Right Way’’ in a collaboration with the number one indie dance producer worldwide, REBRN as a strong debut, already playing the track in all dancefloors around the world and getting strong reaction from the listeners worldwide.
Following her success on stage, she was a part of some special projects this year as being the first woman ever played a DJ set in 85m high on a wind turbine, for Enerjisa world music campaign. The performance reached over 1 million views worldwide. Afterwards, she was invited to perform at Fashion Week Studio in Paris with world-famous designers. Also in the past years she represented Turkey in Pioneer DJ global seminar on Woman’s day.
Keeping the hype with every show that she plays, she shared the same stage with the most prestigious acts; Innellea, Joachim Pastor, Eli & Fur, Goom Gum, Einmusik, Teho, Lexer, Jacob as well as performances in recognised festivals: Summerdaze Festival, FG Space 101 Festival, Wonderland and more.
Contributing the music scene in İstanbul, she is directing Overdaze events & Zoe Garden nightclub. She defines her style as as a fine selection of indie dance with groovy basslines and rhythms, in an addition with some well selected house touch.
