Suede will perform in Istanbul on July 17 at Zorlu PSM’s Turkcell Stage, organized by Epifoni and %100 Müzik.
A defining band of the Britpop era, Suede returns to Istanbul as part of their new album tour “Antidepressants”, marking a renewed chapter in modern alternative rock.
Having helped shape the aesthetic, emotional, and musical identity of a generation in the early 1990s, Suede emerged as one of the pioneers of Britpop. Their theatrical stage presence, dark lyrical tone, and distinctive British sound have influenced countless bands worldwide. With glam rock and art rock elements woven into their music, and Brett Anderson’s unique stage persona, the band became more than a musical act—an emotional memory of an era.
Across a career spanning more than 30 years, Suede remains as bold and innovative as ever. Their tenth studio album “Antidepressants” introduces a new sonic atmosphere, with songs from the album being performed live in Istanbul for the first time.
Fans can also expect iconic Britpop classics such as Trash, Animal Nitrate, Beautiful Ones, and So Young to resonate once again at Zorlu PSM.
