%100 Music Presents: Weval at %100 Studio on December 6! Amsterdam-based electronic duo Weval, made up of Harm Coolen and Merijn Scholte Albers, has been globally recognized since their 2013 debut for their emotionally rich, multi-layered productions that blend analog warmth with forward-thinking sound design. With roots in film and a cinematic approach to storytelling, their music exists in a space between introspective electronica, psychedelic pop, and atmospheric dance music. On their fourth album Chorophobia, the duo leans into what once held them back—dance music—while continuing to carve out their unique sound outside the mainstream club scene for over a decade. Known for their immersive live performances, Weval has played major festivals across Europe and the US, including Primavera, Pukkelpop, Lightning in a Bottle, Lowlands, and DGTL Amsterdam. In their hometown, they’ve sold out iconic venues like Paradiso and the Royal Concertgebouw. Refusing to be confined to a single genre, Weval keeps evolving—and they’re bringing their one-of-a-kind performance to the stage on December 6!
