Sónar Istanbul returns to Zorlu PSM on April 10–11, 2026 to celebrate its 10th anniversary, marking a decade where sound, culture and experimentation have intersected through electronic music, digital creativity and collective experiences.

Sónar Istanbul brings together the defining forces of contemporary electronic music in this special 10th anniversary edition. At the center of the program is Charlotte de Witte. Witte’s uncompromising, high-energy techno continues to shape global dance floors with its intense physicality. Alongside her, Apparat and Polo & Pan add contrasting yet complementary dimensions to the programme. Apparat’s immersive, emotionally driven sound world moves between electronic composition and cinematic atmosphere, while Polo & Pan bring warmth and global rhythms to the dancefloor, creating collective, open-hearted moments built on movement and shared joy.
Stef Mendesidis delivers a high-precision live set alongside the experimental sonic landscapes of Novi_sad and the modular synthesis of Cora Novoa. The club energy of the weekend is bolstered by the encyclopedic house selections of Gerd Janson, the vibrant groove of LOVEFOXY, and a heavy-hitting, world-exclusive b2b set from CEM and SALOME. Together, these artists form a multi-layered programme that spans forward-thinking techno, immersive live works, and experimental sound practices, reflecting a long-standing commitment to discovery rather than fixed genre boundaries.
The newly announced names further reinforce Sónar’s commitment to avant-garde and technical experimentation. Laurel Halo & Julian Charrière present Midnight Zone live AV, a deep audiovisual experience merging music and moving image. Liam Young presents New Planetary Imaginaries, forging new connections between architecture, storytelling and moving image. Lady Starlight brings a high-voltage live performance powered by the raw techno energy of analog machines. Halina Rice live combines music, visuals and technology in an immersive performance, while Pleizel live delivers layered electronic soundscapes through a dynamic live set.
Beyond music, Sónar+D Istanbul once again takes a central role in the festival, presenting talks, performances and new formats that explore the future of creativity, technology and digital culture. The 2026 edition will introduce audiences to new collaborations and approaches that shed light on the future of cultural production. - The doors will open at 17.00.
- Tickets are required for each audience attending the event.
- The event is suitable for participants aged 18 and over. Audience under 18 years of age cannot attend the event.
- Patrons required to show a valid identification (ID) as proof of identity with Driver's License, ID Card or Passport. Audiences who do not proof of identity with them, identity Card/Driver’s will not be allowed admittance.
- For security reasons, body, bags and belongings will be searched as a condition of entry.
- Gel, perfumes, deodorants and vitamins which are carried in bags will not be allowed into the venue.
- Food and drink may not be brought into the venue. There will be a variety of dining spaces and bars.
- The use of professional cameras, selfie-sticks, audio and video equipment is not permitted.
- Explosive, flammable, or toxic items (gas substances, pepper gas and etc.) are prohibited in the festival area.
- All drugs are prohibited in the festival area under no circumstances. Only prescribed drugs needed to be used during the festival will be taken into custody and will be allowed to be used in case of need.
- Do not take off your wristband under any circumstances and do not lose your ticket.
- Your ticket, and the wristband given to by the event gives the right to enter the event area in designated hours. If you lose your wristband and/or ticket or take off your wristband you will lose the right to attend the event. The organizer and Passo will not be responsible for lost tickets and/or wristbands. -Backpacks and large bags will not be allowed into the venue. There is a cloakroom service available for backpacks and large bags.
- Fog effect will be frequently used during the events.
- Visitors will be allowed to wear ear plugs in the event to protect themselves against loud music. The organizer will provide ear plugs.
- The event includes visual effects that are not suitable for people with photosensitive epilepsy.
- All items that are not put in the cloakroom will be under the responsibility of their owner. -Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor spaces. Audiences who do not follow the rule will not be allowed in the event area without warning and will not receive a refund.
- The participants have the right to exit the festival area once until 23.00. Our guests who leave the festival venue after 23.00 will not be allowed into the festival venue again on that day.
- The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the lineup, schedule, and artists. Changes in artists do not constitute a cancellation as long as they do not eliminate the essential elements of the event, and in such cases, ticket refunds will not be issued.
- There will be no refund.
- Zorlu PSM reserves the right to change the conditions for purchasing discounted tickets.
- Zorlu PSM reserves the right to change the event area and time.
- Zorlu PSM reserves the right to deny admittance of the visitors to the venue by refunding the ticket fee if it deems unsuitable for the event.
- The festival will be held under any weather conditions.
- Purchase of a ticket means you consent to filming, photography and sound recording which may include you as a member of the audience and its use in both online and offline commercial distribution without payment or copyright.
- The festival will be held standing.
- During the event, please keep your phones away from the show lights which use lasers and other lighting effects.
