SING ALONG WITH THE BEŞİKTAŞ CHILDREN’S CHOIR
Beşiktaş Children’s Choir is a project that was developed by Choir Conductor and Music Teacher Güneş Kaya over many years, in collaboration with Ms. Zeynep Civelek Çaynak, and finally brought to life in 2016.
Since its establishment, Beşiktaş Children’s Choir has given numerous concerts and performances, taking part in a wide range of projects, including social responsibility initiatives, music videos, concerts as special guests, children’s programs, brand launch concerts, and commercial shoots. The choir has performed alongside musical ensembles such as the Tekfen Philharmonic Orchestra, the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Orchestra and Chorus, the Beşiktaş Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Istanbul Opera Chamber Orchestra.
The choir opened the second day of the 1st Pera International Choral Festival and performed the children’s choir section of Carmina Burana together with the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Orchestra and Chorus. It continued its achievements by receiving the “Achievement in Polyphonic Song Interpretation” award at the 5th Sansev Istanbul International Polyphonic Choirs Festival, the “Achievement in Saip Egüz Song Interpretation” award at the 6th Sansev Istanbul International Polyphonic Choirs Festival, and the “Homogeneity” award as well as the special “Nevit Kodallı” award, presented in honor of the renowned composer, at the 7th Sansev Istanbul International Polyphonic Choirs Festival. In May 2022, the choir received the “Musicality – Musical Dynamics” award at the Izmir Polyphonic Choirs Festival, organized by the Izmir Branch of the Turkish Polyphonic Choirs Association. Most recently, at the 8th Sansev Istanbul International Polyphonic Choirs Festival, the choir received the “Cemal Reşit Rey Special Award” and the “Achievement in Choral Tone” award.
Having had the opportunity to work with distinguished composers and performers, the Beşiktaş Children’s Choir’s repertoire includes songs in Turkish as well as English, Italian, French, Latin, and Hebrew.
In addition to classical music, Beşiktaş Children’s Choir has performed special concerts with artists such as Levent Yüksel, Tarkan, Soner Arıca, Sertab Erener, Cem Adrian, Kenan Doğulu, Can Şengün, Murat Dalkılıç, and maNga. The choir has also participated in studio recordings with some of these artists and contributed to their albums.
The choir is conducted by Güneş Kaya, accompanied on piano by Duru Korkutlar, while Selçuk Taçalan serves as the choir coordinator. The choir is also a member of the Choral Culture Association.
The aim of this lifelong project is to bring together musically talented children from different schools, enabling them to connect with one another, receive fundamental music education, and develop through the culture of polyphonic choral music. The project also aims to provide children with opportunities to actively participate in innovative and pioneering artistic projects, contribute to their social lives, and help raise confident and accomplished individuals in the field of art.

Event Rules
• Zorlu PSM reserves the right to make changes to the event venue, program, and event times.
• The event is suitable for attendees aged 3 and above.
• All attendees entering the event venue are required to have a valid ticket, regardless of age.
• Doors open at 14:00 and the event starts at 14:30.
• No audience members will be admitted to the venue after the event has started. Therefore, guests are kindly requested to take their seats before the event start time.
Tickets & Admission
• One ticket is valid for one person only and grants admission to the event venue.
• Zorlu PSM reserves the right to verify attendees’ identities at the entrance. Documents other than an ID card, driver’s license, or passport, including screenshots or digital images, will not be accepted.
• For security reasons, bag and body checks may be carried out at the entrance. Guests who do not consent to the security check may be denied entry.
• Special discounted tickets for Garanti BBVA Genç are exclusively available to Garanti BBVA Genç customers. ID checks will be conducted at the entrance. Ticket holders who do not meet the eligibility requirements will not be admitted.
• Guests using discounted tickets are required to present valid documentation confirming their eligibility for the discount upon entry. If valid documentation is not provided, the organizer reserves the right to request payment of the difference between the discounted ticket and the full-price ticket or deny admission to the event venue.
• Zorlu PSM reserves the right to deny admission to the event venue when deemed necessary.
Venue Rules
• As food and beverages are sold within Zorlu PSM, bringing outside food and beverages into the event venue is prohibited.
• Unless otherwise stated by the organizer, professional cameras, photographic equipment, and professional audio or video recording equipment are not permitted inside the event venue.
• Unless otherwise stated by the organizer, photography, audio recording, and video recording are prohibited.
• During the event, guests are kindly requested not to use mobile phones or other electronic devices in order to avoid disrupting the experience of other attendees. Guests who are recording will be warned by our staff using a laser pointer. Guests who continue recording after the warning will be asked to leave the venue.
• Bringing sharp, pointed, flammable, combustible, explosive, or any other items that may pose a security risk into the event venue is prohibited.
• Smoking is prohibited in designated non-smoking areas of Zorlu PSM, and guests are required to comply with this rule.
• Cloakroom service is available. Guests are responsible for any personal belongings not deposited at the cloakroom.
• Zorlu PSM is not responsible for personal belongings that are lost, stolen, or forgotten within the event venue. Found items will be kept in accordance with Zorlu PSM’s Lost and Found Procedure.
• Large suitcases and bulky items are not permitted inside the event venue.
• Zorlu PSM reserves the right to remove from the event venue, without refund, anyone who violates the event rules, negatively affects other guests’ experience, or poses a safety risk.
Health & Safety
• Some events may include intense lighting, lasers, strobe lights, and visual effects that may not be suitable for individuals with epilepsy.
• In case of an emergency, guests are required to follow the instructions of security personnel and the event organization team.
• Zorlu PSM reserves the right to remove, without refund, anyone who violates the event rules, negatively affects other guests’ experience, or poses a safety risk.
Photography, Video & Audio Recording
• Photographs, video footage, and audio recordings may be taken by Zorlu PSM and the organizer throughout the event.
• By attending the event, guests are deemed to have accepted that photographs, video footage, and audio recordings taken at the event venue may be used for promotional, advertising, marketing, and corporate communication purposes.
Food & Beverage
• Before and after the event, Taş Bar and the Focamia, Ppang, Rancero, and The Grungy venues at Bites & Beats are available without a reservation.
• Guests wishing to dine at Cheers Restaurant before the event are advised to make a reservation by calling 0212 912 37 76, subject to table availability.
Transportation
• Zorlu PSM can be reached directly via Gayrettepe Metro Station on the M2 Yenikapı–Hacıosman Metro Line. Guests using public transportation are advised to consider the metro as an option.
• Guests arriving by private vehicle are advised to arrive at least 1 hour before the event start time to ensure convenient access to parking and valet services, as Zorlu Center may experience increased traffic before the event.
