SELEN GÜLÜN "KADINLAR MATİNESİ"
Selen Gülün will be at touché on March 8th within the project “Women’s Matinee” that performed the works of Turkish women artists together with Italian musicians at the Donne in Jazz Festival in Rome in 2011 and has turned into a concert series and an album over the years.
The project, that started with the desire to increase the visibility of female songwriters and composers who write, play, record and publish their own music in different styles in Turkey, has hosted more than thirty female composers and songwriters on its stage so far. Selen Gülün's album Women's Matinee was released by A.K. Music, 2017. Selen Gülün, (vocals, electric piano, synth) Serhan Erkol (soprano and alto sax) Kamucan Yalçın, (vocals, clarinet) Esra Kayıkçı (contrabass, vocals) Nihal Saruhanlı (drums).
Guest artist of the night will be Çağıl Kaya and Ülkü Aybala Sunat.
