COŞKUN KARADEMİR "ETNİK SİNYALLER"
Coşkun Karademir brings Anatolian music to the world with its 'Ethnic Signals' project.
Award-winning musician and instrumentalist Coşkun Karademir, who has brought different styles together with Anatolian music and baglama, has achieved an international reputation with the album and concert projects he has prepared with many important names, aims to bring his music to the whole world with the 'Ethnic Signals' concert project.
With 'Ethnic Signals', Coşkun Karademir brings the mystical tones of the East, the traditional folk songs of Anatolia and the instrumental melodies he composed inspired by these maqam structures to the stage by blending them with electronic music materials, a first in his field.
Coşkun Karademir, who has worked with all the colors of Anatolia in his art with the baglama that he has been in love with since his childhood, has made music for many TV series, movies and documentaries, provided art consultancy to many different styles of artist's albums and directed their careers. The first album of the group The Secret Ensemble, featuring Iran's world-famous voice Mahsa Vahdat, 'Kuşların Çağrısı/The Call of the Birds' and the next release of 'Endless Path' were accepted as masterpieces by both the press and music authorities.
Coşkun Karademir, who topped the world music charts with his album 'Oz' and represented Turkey at the world-famous music fair Womex with this project. He was also awarded the 'Best World Beat EP' prize with the album 'Interlude' and the 'Silver Medal' prize by the 'Global Music Awards' which was released with Hesam Naseri .
