Garanti BBVA Genç Konserleri: Echoes of Prince & Ankara Echoes will take place on April 18 at %100 Studio, as part of PSM Loves2Gather!
With over a decade of powerful live performance experience across stages from Paris to London, Berlin to Zagreb and Monaco, Echoes Of stands out as one of the most respected collectives on the European funk scene.
The group is widely known for its original and highly popular tribute projects dedicated to the American funk heritage of the 1970s and 1980s: Echoes Of Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Dayton, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, and Washington. The pinnacle of these projects is “Funk & The City,” a residency that sells out every month at Paris’s legendary jazz club New Morning, and has become one of the band’s signature events.
Echoes Of also performs regularly at some of Europe’s most prestigious venues and events, including South London Soul Train Parties (Bussey Building, Omeara, Lafayette), Berlin Heideglühen, Zagreb Peti Kupe, and Monaco.
In addition, since 2019, the group has drawn major attention with its highly acclaimed Echoes Of Prince special tribute show. Echoes Of has also become an indispensable backing band for artists such as Howard Johnson, Junior Giscombe, and most recently Kyoto Jazz Massive. Together with Kyoto Jazz Massive, they tour and record under the name Echoes Of A New Dawn Orchestra.
Recently, Echoes Of has been focusing on their original music with a new project called Jéroboam. This powerful 12-member ensemble delivers the finest contemporary disco funk and rare groove, with releases on respected labels such as Space Grapes, Chuwanaga, and Favorite Recordings, carrying the spirit of legendary 70s and 80s funk bands into the present day.
Hailed as one of the most exciting funk projects of the last three years, Jéroboam promises a live experience that is both nostalgic and completely fresh.
The Ankara Echoes music collective, led by Mertkan Erkan, continues to make waves with its growing fan base and strong impact in a short time. Known for their powerful stage presence, intimate connection with the audience, and the unique atmosphere they create during live performances, the collective will meet listeners at Zorlu PSM on April 18, following Echoes of Prince.

Doors open at 21:00, and the event starts at 21:30.
The event is suitable for participants aged 18 and over.
Attendees under the age of 18 are not permitted to attend the event.
Since food and beverages are sold in Zorlu PSM areas, it is forbidden to bring food and beverages into the event venue from outside.
It is forbidden to bring cameras and cameras into the event venue.
Smoking is strictly forbidden in the indoor areas of Zorlu PSM. Those who do not comply with this rule will be removed from the event area without warning and tickets will not be refunded.
Everyone who enters the event area is subject to a ticket with no upper and lower age limit.
The responsibility of the items not left in the cloakroom belongs to the owner.

Student tickets are limited to capacity and valid with a student ID. Student ID must be presented to the staff on the day of the event.
Zorlu PSM reserves the right to refuse admission to the event venue by refunding the ticket fee.
Due to the density that may occur at Zorlu Center before the event time, it is recommended that our guests arriving with their own vehicles enter the area at least 1 hour before the event time in order not to waste time in the parking lot and valet. Thank you for your understanding.
During the event, light effects and visuals that may not be suitable for epilepsy patients are used.
Event wristbands must be worn at all times. Do not remove your wristband under any circumstances during the event. Do not lose your ticket.
A ticket, together with the wristband to be worn at the ticket cutting, entitles the holder to enter the event area between the hours determined by the organizer. Loss of the ticket and/or wristband, or any removal of the wristband from the wrist in any way will result in loss of the right of entry. Zorlu PSM or the organizer is not responsible for the loss of the ticket and/or wristband.
