EZGİ ALAŞ BAND
Ezgi Alaş was born on June 10, 1994 in Aydın. Realizing that she had a talent for music at the age of 3, she started music with the piano by her family. She then took part in children's choirs in primary school and studied ballet. In secondary school, she took classical piano education as a trainee for 4 years at İzmir 9 Eylül State Conservatory. She studied high school in Anatolian High School and graduated from the language (English) department. During her high school life, she received the 'Best Promising Girl Soloist' and 'Best Girl Soloist' awards for 2 consecutive years at the Young Notes music competition organized by Hürriyet. Between 2010 and 2011, she performed as a soloist in the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality City Orchestra.
She participated in the Nardis Young Jazz Vocal Competition and won 2 awards and got the right to participate in the jazz masterclass in Poland. After Bilkent opera department, she entered Yaşar University Jazz Department/Vocal Department with the 1st place. While continuing her education, she had the chance to participate in an international vocal competition for the first time in 2015. She represented Turkey in countries such as Romania, Georgia, Macedonia, Lithuania and Latvia after she won the 1st place in the first competition she participated in Italy.
The young artist, who did not return to her country without an award, represented Turkey by taking first place in the Ukrainian and Turkish legs of the competitions held in Istanbul. Having successfully graduated from Yaşar University in 2017, Alaş continues her musical career by publishing Turkish and English songs.
