Orkut has served as Music Director for Kenan Doğulu’s İhtimaller project and as Music Director and arranger for the Symphonity project. In 2024, he oversaw the musical direction of İhtimaller II, recorded at Abbey Road Studios, and prepared all of the album’s arrangements.
At Touché, Ercüment Orkut brings the music of his latest album, Far From Both Ends, to the stage with the musicians who performed on the album. He will be joined by some of the leading names in the Turkish jazz scene: trumpeter Tolga Bilgin, bassist Kağan Yıldız, and drummer Volkan Öktem.
Centered around compositions from Far From Both Ends, the quartet will reinterpret the album’s musical world through improvisation and live interaction. Blending composed structures with improvisation, the concert will also feature selections from different periods of Orkut’s career alongside the album’s repertoire.
