%100 MÜZİK SUNAR: MARCEL DETTMANN
One of the iconic names of modern techno, DJ and producer Marcel Dettmann will be at %100 Studio on December 19, with the support of %100 Müzik!
Closely associated with Berlin’s legendary venues Berghain and Hard Wax, Dettmann began his musical journey in a small town in former East Germany. Inspired by acts like Depeche Mode, The Cure, and Front 242, he developed a deep passion for electronic music at an early age. Today, through his labels MDR and Bad Manners, he continues to push the boundaries of techno while creating space for emerging talent.
A defining figure of Berlin and the Berghain scene, Dettmann has made a significant impact on the world of electronic music with two albums released under Ostgut Ton, along with countless singles and remixes. His collaborations with artists from diverse genres — such as Junior Boys, Fever Ray, and Moderat — showcase his versatility.
Beyond the club scene, Dettmann has made a name for himself through interdisciplinary projects. He has created sound designs for contemporary dance performances with the Staatsballett Berlin and for an exhibition by photographer Frederike von Rauch.
As one of Berghain’s leading resident DJs, Marcel Dettmann blends minimal and hard-hitting sounds with emotional and unexpected moments in his sets. Masterfully fusing techno and Chicago beats for over 25 years, he is set to deliver an unforgettable night at Zorlu PSM %100 Studio on December 19!
