%100 MÜZİK SUNAR: KAE TEMPEST
%100 Müzik Sunar: Kae Tempest at Turkcell Stage on November 22!
Mercury and BRIT-nominated poet, musician, and writer Kae Tempest is one of the most original voices of our time, creating across literature, theatre, and music without boundaries. Their journey, which began at the age of 16 on the streets and open mic nights, has since grown into international acclaim with the Ted Hughes Award-winning Brand New Ancients, the best-selling novel The Bricks That Built The Houses, and albums produced by Rick Rubin. From Glastonbury to the National Theatre, Tempest’s stage presence has always been defined by the courage to tell their truth.
Born and raised in Lewisham, London, Kae returns to the stage with their fifth studio album, Self Titled. What began spontaneously with Grammy Award-winning producer Fraser T Smith evolved into a dialogue between Tempest’s past, present, and future selves, turning into a story that is deeply personal yet profoundly collective. The album features the epic James Bond-inspired opener “I Stand On The Line”, the high-energy “Statue In The Square” that nods to their MC roots, “Breathe” co-produced with Young Fathers, and “Bless The Bold Future” featuring the soulful Tawiah. Standout moments also include “Diagnoses”, a striking exploration of neurodiversity, “Hyperdistillation” which opens with a Carl Jung sample, and two surprise guest collaborations.
With words, music, and performance that leave a lasting mark, Kae Tempest takes the stage with their new album Self Titled, on November 22 at Zorlu PAC with the contribution of %100 Müzik. Step into the universe of this unmissable performance!
