The international pride of our rock scene, THE RINGO JETS, returns to its live performances, which had to be interrupted due to the pandemic, with an Istanbul concert two years later.

The band, which will play Yadigar and Unlimited Lunch Pack EPs as well as the Ringo classics, which generally bring together the audience and the hall, for the first time in this concert, is counting the days to meet their audience on Wednesday, January 26th.

Founded in 2012 in Istanbul by Tarkan Mertoğlu and Deniz Ağan on guitars and Lale Kardeş on drums, The Ringo Jets attracted attention in the underground music scene with their debut Limited Lunchpack EP.

The 2014 album The Ringo Jets, recorded by producer Tommaso Colliva (Muse, Franz Ferdinand), quickly brought the band into international concert and festival circles. The Ringo Jets, which took part in important festivals such as Primavera Sound, Les Rencontres Transmusicales, Gutter Island, Rock 'n Coke, and toured in regions such as Scandinavia, France, Italy, Spain, shared the stage with many groups including Pixies, The Battles, Portishead, The Sonics and Gogol Bordello.

Evil Eye EP was released in 2015, which also includes songs such as "Taras Bulba" and "Dirty Hasan" that refer to the band's Turkish psychedelic rock roots. It was followed by the Quatre EP, released in 2016. The Ringo Jets, who packed a compilation album called Assorted, numerous concerts and the 2018 full-length Open Sesame in the next two years, gave unforgettable concerts at the Øyafestivalen (Oslo) and Sziget (Budapest) festivals in August 2019. Yadigâr EP, which was also recorded with Tommaso Colliva in Milan and released at the end of 2019, has been the most colorful and rich material that the group has presented so far, both musically and verbally.

The band released the Yadigâr 4x4 Keepsake Edition album and Unlimited Lunch Pack EP, which includes the remix, live, demo and instrumental versions of all the songs in the Yadigâr EP, respectively, in 2020 and 2021, which were stagnant all over the world due to the pandemic. They also entered the studio to record  their new album to be released in 2022.
