Doors: 20.00

Bassist and co-founder of ground-breaking rock bands Joy Division and New Order; Peter Hook and his now-permanent band The Light will be at PSM Jazz Festival on February 27th to celebrate ten years of The Light as well as forty years of Joy Division!

First revisiting Joy Division’s seminal albums “Unknown Pleasures” back in May 2010 for a commemorative charity concert and following it each year with new albums performed live from the repertoire of Hook's bands, New Order and Joy Division, Peter Hook & The Light have now moved through each of the albums from those bands and have just finished up a world-wide tour of Factory Records "Substance" compilation albums.

Hook's dedication to his back catalog has seen him move through “Closer”, “Still”, “Movement”, “Power Corruption & Lies”, "Low Life" and "Brotherhood" to arrive at this point and having toured extensively with the band, The Light has come to amass well over 500 shows in the 10 years since their first concert.

“The music and the vocals were two separate things, so it was wonderful to be able to sit there and bring them together, and I found myself enjoying playing Republic more than Technique, which I never thought would happen because Technique was always my favorite New Order album by a country mile.” – Rolling Stone, 2018

Turkcell Stage - Standing

Zorlu PSM, in its 3rd season with a totally new format, also built a new concert area that can be positioned as a winter concert area in İstanbul with a capacity of being able to host 1500 to 3500 guests standing. Turkcell Stage has been continuing both Turkish and foreign thematic standing concerts without slowing down.
