Ömür Göksel, the living legend of Turkish pop music will be a part of PSM Jazz Festival with his “Sinatra Turns 105” project, performing his repertoire of the best jazz standards and Sinatra songs. “105 years old Sinatra” will be at touché on November 19th!
Ömür Göksel was awarded for his impeccable voice when he was just 18 years old. During the 1960’s, he was among the most popular and successful artists with his wide repertoire and ability to sing in various languages. In the 1970’s, he won the “Altın Plak” award many times for his songs like “Mutluluk”, “Artık Sevemem”. In 1979, he got invited for performances across the Europe and US, thus decided to pursue his musical career abroad. He continued his musical life in Italy, the US, and Germany. With his albums “A Touch of Quality” and “A Touch of Love”, Göksel attained huge success and continued this series for the remaining years. The artist still pursues a musical life and perform in concerts for TRT or Jazz Orchestra.
