Lambert, the pianist and composer from Hamburg, hidden behind the Sardinian bull mask and the melancholic, ambient melodies is coming to %100 Studio on May 7th as a part of PSM Jazz Festival!
Although many rumors have been derived on the subject, we still do not know who the name behind the Sardinian bull mask is, who entered our lives six years ago. All we know is that this talent, known as Lambert, soon worked with the best in his field and became a world-class artist. The musician who reinterpreted the works of names such as José González, Moderat and Deichkind, has released four solo albums in the last six years. The phenomenon, who performed with neo-classical pianists such as Nils Frahm and Ólafur, and worked with names like Stimming reveals diversity and versatility. Lambert, one of the best interpreters of melancholic melodies today, will be at %100 Studio on May 7th as part of PSM Jazz Festival.
With her soft voice and dreamy melodies, Ghostly Kisses will be joining us at %100 Studio as a part of PSM Jazz Festival on May 7th!
Ghostly Kisses is the dreamy music of singer and songwriter Margaux Sauvé. The artist who began playing violin at the age of 5, started to sing and compose her first works a few years later. The name ‘Ghostly Kisses’ was inspired from reading William Faulkner’s poem ‘Une ballade des dames perdues’ and seemed like the perfect reflection of her ethereal voice. She released her EP “What You See” in 2017 and following that, “The City Holds My Heart” in 2018. Her inspiration for this 5 pieces album was the sonic textures of the 90’s. Unfolding around Margaux’s soft voice, the album progressively reveals different drums, synths, string arrangements and piano layers.
