Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien aka EOB is coming to Turkey to perform at Zorlu PSM for the first time as a past of PSM Jazz Festival on July 1st!
Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien is coming to Turkey for the first time to perform his new album produced by Flood and Catherine Marks and come to life with the contributions of names like Glenn Kotche, Adrian Utley, Laura Marling and Colin Greenwood. Ed O’Brien, who never planned to release a solo album and spent almost 30 years of his life as part of Radiohead, one of the biggest musical forces in the world, has decided to release the melodies that are overflowing him under the name of EOB. The legendary guitarist brought his fans together with the first outputs of his solo project by releasing his singles "Santa Teresa" and "Brasil" in 2019. O’Brien says that the process first started in Brazil which he moved to in late 2012 while listening to “Screamadelica” by Primal Scream in Brazil. Also, the Rio Carnival O’Brien attended made him realize that this was the kind of light, energy and ambiance he dreamed to portray in his music. Since then, the Radiohead guitarist has been directing all his left-over time from tours to his solo project. Said to be announced early 2020, EOB is coming to Turkey for the first time as a part of PSM Jazz Festival on July 1st!
