Yasemin Mori: 21.30
Yasemin Mori will be at Zorlu PSM Studio to celebrate her 10th year of music with her Sony labelled album “Estrella” on March 16!
Yasemin Mori appeared on Turkish music scene in 2008 with her debut album “Hayvanlar”. Her music is the perfect blend of folkloric elements with Avantgarde jazz and a bit of psychedelic rock. Her first album featuring this particular understanding of music alongside with a fascinating visual world of imagination became a huge success in a short notice.
Her second album “Deli Bando” was released in 2012. Deli Bando brought dynamism and change to her music, with all its abstraction, complementing those who live outside of the box. Combining mythological figures and mystical stories from 1001 Arabian Nights to La Fontaine and stories of Jules Verne, her utterly unique lyrics caught attention right away.
With her unique voice and lyrics, Yasemin Mori continued to speak the miracles of human nature and fantasies of the universe through her third album “Finnari Kakaraska” which was recorded in 2015.
After a long wait for a brand new Yasemin Mori album, the artist announced her fourth album which consisted of 9 unique songs about all good, bad and the ugly about love. Her new Sony Music release “Estrella”, is a unique mix of personal lyrics combined with a harmonious blend of music which was influenced by the ups and downs of love itself.
With arrangements by Gürsel Çelik, “Estrella” is an album all written by Yasemin Mori herself, with kind contributions of Korhan Futacı on singles “Estirelim mi?” and “Uçan Kedi”. “Estrella” meaning confident and outspoken in Spanish and Yasemin Mori offers her audience a beautifully jarring musical experience with her album.
Featuring Eypio on her massive single “Estirelim mi?” and Cem Yılmaz on her song “Konyak”, Yasemin Mori is all set to take you on a rollercoaster to a world of fantasy and dream. Her new music video to her song “Estirelim mi?” also featuring Eypio on screen was directed by Bora Tarhan, cinematography by Murat Akay and fashion consultation was by Anıl Can.
