The album, which was a fresh breath of air for Turkey's music scene with its calm yet effective melodies and strong lyrics, made Güngör enter the lives of music lovers as a prominent figure of the contemporary indie music, which has close ties with Istanbul's Kadıköy district.
Having created a loyal fan base with his works in former bands Tamburada and Dandadadan; and known for his works with names such as Kreş, Çilekeş and Yasemin Mori, Korhan Futacı's (vocal, tenor saxophone) band currently consists of Gökhan Şahinkaya (bass), Samad Kamali (clavier), Erdem Göymen (drums), Barış Ertürk (baritone sax), Işık Üstündağ (trombone) and Can Ömer Uygan (trumpet). Having released its second album Pavurya as a follow-up to the self-titled debut, the band stands out with its energetic live performances.
